Hopefully they use a different type of material for the back. Matte perhaps? This wouldn't be that bad, to be honest. Bigger screen, faster and a revamp of iOS 5 is all I really want.
I'm sure Apple won't disappoint & I'm almost certain they will not use this kind of material for the phone.

Currently? That article's 3 years old! Did you see the size of those mobiles? Also parts where they mention that IMing could be the next big thing give away its age a bit.

You're going to pay the same rate for your service regardless of subsidy status of your iPhone. Why pay $650 when you can pay $200?
If you have enough competition, some carrier will fill that niche and offer a noticeably cheaper plan for non-subsidised phones. And when that happens, a full-price (non-subsidised) phone + those plans normally turns out cheaper than a subsidised phone + higher rates.

This use of 'real' materials in digitial software is something I really detest. It made me not like the ipad and nearly put me off the iphone.
Off the top of my head :
Ibooks - wood??????? looks turd
ical - as we have seen
Game center - fake felt table
All these interfaces are the worst thing about iosx .
It seems they are going to get worse !!!!!!! i bet it will be paper for mail next.

I don't care much for a bluetoothed version of this P.O.S.
At the moment the Mighty mouse has heaps of potential to be a great mouse if only Apple fixes the current issues it encounters such as sometimes not being able to scroll downwards, erratically activating expose (side buttons) when I don't even have my fingers near there and other few quirks....
Now if its going to be bluethooth, it'll be harder to tell whether its the mouse or the bluetooth faulting.

Nice to see the suite maturing like this. Pages 3 along with Charts will definitely make iWork 07 an improvement over the '06 version and a lot more solid of a suite in general.

All you need to do is look at him to know that it's not a show. He definitely wants publicity, but I don;t think it's going to get him the results he wants. Most people I know are horrified and of the opinion that he just ruined his career. I have to agree.

There should be a setting something like:
- Never ask for password for purchases of $X and under.
- Always ask for password for purchases of $Y and over.
The first one would be nice so it I could set it to free and easily update my apps.
The second would help prevent cases like the OP.

I'm amazed how people always expect to get everything for free ... they want to have the best of the best without paying anything because the think they just 'deserve' it ...
Hell, why would you assume they are not charging for it?
The usual pattern is to get some small teaser for free (either time limited or small storage amount) to get you hooked and when you like it you pay for it. [Just like I got hooked on the free dropbox and now pay for the 100GB plan because I love it so much]
And seriously: $20/year is almost free.
