HLUD - 9/15/09 - CPO E mail ( Self & Spouse)
No RFE, SR on 8/27/09 - Recd reply on 9/4/09 stating that your case is pending and processing is delayed. Called two senators offices and sent them faxes, Lawyer sent a letter to AILA liason on 8/20/09 - So far no replies
Called TSC on 9/15/09 eve 5 PM and talked to CSR and she convinced and transferred to officer, he told me that the case is under review since 8/28/08 and asked me to keep faith in the system
And by 7 PM EDT - 9/15/09 recd the CPO - email for both of us

Folks, I took 100K coverage with I!M_G*G#L^O&B(A)L through the agent I*N*@S#U^B%u^y.
Unfortunately one week before my dad left, I had to take him to ER as he had an attack. The bills came out to 50K+, the insurance company denied all claims saying it is pre-existing.
The hospital and the doctor who attended him at ER as well as the hospital gave me a letter saying it is not pre-existing. But insurance company will not accept it.
The guy at the agent, talks nicely but he says we cannot do anything, just go in understanding with the hospital and pay it in installments. He also says do not file any law suit it is not useful.
All this is total scam, i did pay a huge premium but now i have lots of bills to pay.
So i agree with others, please do your research properly. And do not believe sales guys or agents, they will talk very nicely but when it comes to claims you are on your own...

As a result, numbers have once again become available to the India Employment Second preference category. The rate of number use in the Employment Second preference category will continue to be monitored, and it may be necessary to make adjustments should the level of demand increase substantially.
May be EB2 India and China can see some movement in July VB published in June.
This piece in VB is telling that the unused numbers in EB2 will be given to the retrogressed countries in EB2. The VB when it defines the categories, also defines EB2 as 27.6% of 140K and what ever is left over from EB1. EB1 is current for some time now and EB1 also circularly gets unused numbers from EB-4 and 5 which account for around 20K. I have been under the assumption that EB-3 ROW must become current for EB-2 retrogressed countries to move significantly forward because of spill over and not by the quota they get every quarter. here are many other reasons why people get mugged..i understand the concern, but agitating against him is not going to produce anything substantial to the IV cause, you will end up providing free publicity to his show. You time will be better spent if you motivate others to join IV and
work with the congressmen and senators.
There is no way that he is going to change his tune. CNN will not drop him because he brings in $$$'s and according to them he is doing nothing wrong, just playing to his crowd.

There are many good strategies but I have no idea on sophistication of each individual. For example right now you can sell credit default swaps on Goldman sachs medium senior secured notes and hedge it with delta units of binary in-the-money call options on the VIX. This will give you synthetic exposure to the notes with steady cash flow and the binaries are cheap. If goldman defaults the VIX will sky rocket giving you a handsome payout better than what you will have to pay on the senior secured notes because of high recovery rate if all the default climbs up to the senior tranche. Actually this would be equal to the end of the world in today�s market.
Or better yet just buy SPX and sit, the market is doing all the work for you.
The US natural gas market is in contango (I swear this is not jargon:o, there is no other term). So buy long dated/leap calls at the money now. In 2 years you will be so deep in the money you wont know what to do. But average retail investor cannot hedge this as he cannot trade spot.
So I guess my point is there are sophisticated ways to make money for which the average retail investor has no access to. If there is a simple way then it has already been exploited under the no-arbitrage clause of free markets.
If you have 2-5 year horizon. Go long the market and sit on it would be my best advice. If people want to meet and share ideas I am open to it. I live in NJ so NY/NJ is fine spot to meet.

Jesus! That looks sooo risky. Yes indeed my PD is May 06. Now the question is what if (I know a big IF), but what if, I apply for my 485 (hoping that my 485 will be on EAD/AP for a long time) BUT my 485 gets approved rather quickly and I am not able to marry before that happens -- do I have *any* way to tackle that issue? Or would it then mean that my wife cannot come in US for n number of years after marriage?!

him if i need to go out of US to get the H1B stamping, he replied this is NOT requried and

It is sad to say the thread started by one of the senior member on similar lines was closed abruptly for discussion.I know IV's main intension is to help on immigration front but it won't be too different to help other immigrant brothers trapped in situations like this.
