Ugh that sucks! I worked in a desert so no snowboarding seasons for me either : /

I'm sure Apple will be heartbroken that you won't be gobbling resources without paying.
If it's worth anything, it's worth $20/year.
I can gobble music on my iPod/iPad/iMacs all day long, thank you, as of today all my music files were present. AND if you need cloud service you are welcome to it. (without any bitching on my part)

The dropped calls are the dealbreaker. I love my iPhone but it just doesn't perform at anything approaching an acceptable level.
Missed calls. Dropped calls. Missing voicemails. 3 day late voicemails. There are consequences these days of having a communication device that behaves randomly. You trust it when you shouldn't and it costs you business and makes you look unreliable.
Most of this is ATT's fault, but frankly the phone has attributes that are Apple's fault, like the volume level. In any case it has to be a good phone first and it is not. The network is the phone, and the network sucks.
Hope I get enough on Ebay to buy an iPod touch.

Actually, the president submits budgets to Congress. Finally, when the market swings wildly as it has recently, look to the behavior of large institutional investors. They are the controllers of large blocks of shares. What they decide moves markets, not small-time investors. They're just along for the ride, for the most part.
The Dollar's largest losses have come as a result of the previous 3 rate cuts.
The budget the President submits, and what Congress approves, are not the same, after pork-barrel spending is added in.

They have GOT to fix the battery drain issue. It started with 4.3 and was NOT fixed with 4.3.1.
If your device is dead, "fixing" the other things doesn't really accomplish anything does it?

As usual American's (yeah I'm American) love to blame someone for their own responsibility. It's so weird how people on here fight for freedom from the lockdowns that Apple puts on it's developers, freedoms from the limitations and restrictions Apple puts on the iPhone (hence why people jailbreak). Yet when a parent doesn't take accountability for their absence of judgement and legal obligation to be responsible for their child, everyone goes off on Apple for not having the protections in place to prevent this?
There are so many hypocrites in this country, probably because nobody wants to take accountability for their own actions. What if it were a gun. If the parent left it on the night stand with a bullet in it, and the kid picked it up and shot & killed someone, would you all be blaming the maker of the gun? No, you'd be going after the parents for failure to supervise their kid which led to actions causing someone's death.
So why is it different here?

The iPhone 4 had the most negative marketing out of all the iPhones.
From the 'prototype' leak, to antenna issues. I think Apple is milking as much money as they can with the iPhone 4, while keeping the iPhone 5 top secret.
I'm predicting that the sales of the white one will be like the Verizon iPhone, nothing spectacular.

Maybe I'm just picky, but it looks like it might be TOO thin! Like I preferred the 3rd gen iPod touches because they seemed to be the best thickness, the 4th gen took it too far and having the volume and lock buttons on the curve felt weird and not as nice :/

Actually, the reason I NEVR got a mobile phone until the iPhone came out is the dropped-call rate for my friends in NYC. Who were on Sprint, as it happened. Their experience was so poor that it kept me on land lines for decades :o
Luckily I get almost no dropped calls with my iPhone--but I'm not in NYC!
