This is my 2 cents, take it or leave it. Please consult the lawyer before taking any decision.
Two H1 are allowed, as long as both are part time and total hours per week is around 40 hours. If you already have a FULL time H1, that is 40 hours, then the Intelligent IO might think that your taking someone else's job.
You can have multiple FULL time H1, but can work for only one employer FULL time.
If you have GC or Citizenship, then the labor laws are different.

1) The company has to send a letter to USCIS to withdraw the I-129.
2) It can withdraw at any time before or after approval. In fact it wont matter to you if you never work for the company.
3) If USCIS rejects it, as in not selected in lottery, you will get back USCIS fee. If you withdraw it there is no refund. In any case, you dont get back lawyer's fee.
4) Withdraw can be done anytime.
5) No form. The company has to send a letter in letterhead stating the receipt number, asking to revoke the application.
6) I dont think USCIS sends any confirmation if H1 is revoked by employer. In any case of H1, you dont have to worry so much. It's all responsibility of the company. It's perfectly valid to have more than 1 H1 at any time.

The final vote on the stimulus bill should happen sometime late this afternoon or early this evening.

I highly oppose calling those "Payed Services", but I am ok with "Paid Services" ;)
Like credit cards, it might be better to call them Gold Member services, or for high donation folks, Platinum Member services. "Paid" is used for a pre-determined service for a pre-determined price.

Go to the one in Sterling/Ashburn...
My wife had gone to DMV in fair oaks mall and they had asked her to produce the original I485 and unfortunately we don't carry it. Our license is going to expire next month.
Anybody know what we can do in this situation. Has anybody got a licence recently from VA state.

Did anyone notice the change in the wording on I-485 adjustment of status? It used to say that it takes between 850 and 900 days to process this type of request. Now it just says that the will notify you when a decision has been made. This change was just made in the last week or two. Curious.

Dude, not sure what your question is.. Earlier you said your transfer is already in process so why this question?
Anyway, if I understand your question correctly then here is the answer:
1. Look for a new job
2. Once you have a new job offer, have that new company sponsor your H1. Practically it is like filing for a new H1.. The only difference is that you use the old visa #, hence you are not subjected to annual cap (which as is does not matter now days).
3. For the transfer have an attorney file for your case. You can do it either normal process, which takes 6 to 9 months (or use to take that much time) or apply under premium process, which takes 15 days. Under normal process you can start working with the company once you have the transfer notice, which comes in 10-15 days (note, this is not approval, just a notice stating that USCIS received your case).
As far as pay stubs are concerned, just give what you have.. On the side note, see if your old employer can give you a letter stating you are on unpaid leave. This will surly buy you some time.

We should point the advantages of immigration of high-skilled professionals,
and build a parallel source of information with "real research"... Our site
should have even the reports which show immigration in negative light as
long as they are from reputable impartial organizations.
Again we can win good deal for us by not fighting idealoges as logiclife
pointed, But By putting forward a constructive ROI for immigration
without bias.

I tried arguing that it is TOTALLY impossible to bring more than five (i mean common u, ur wife and 3 kids = 5). You cant get ur parents etc., until you are a Citizen, but he wud not listen.
These guys are out to prove that immigration is a bad thing, and they will do their damndest to prove that point. They will not skew the facts, but they will present it in such a way that it looks a LOT worse than it actually is.

By all standards, you should have the receipt number by now. Call USCIS customer service and follow the menu, have lot of patience and all the info with u when u call them up.
