Occam's Razor (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Occam%27s_Razor) does dictate that the explanation Apple has offered up is the most likely. Unlike what some other blogs have been claiming (:cough: Gizmodo :cough: ) it's unlikely that Apple meant to leave an unencrypted tracking database available on each phone.
Further, I examined a map of my iPhone's database and there were some unexplained blobs. Unexplained that is until I read Apple's description, and then it all fit. I flew through Atlanta 4 times in the past year, spending a total of a couple of hours there. My mapped blobs on Atlanta were much larger than the entire weeks I spent in Montana and Wyoming. The only way this makes sense is if the data is actually crowdsourced, which is exactly what Apple claims.
So I see little reason to disbelieve today's statements. (Unless you are inclined towards conspiracy theories, which an unfortunately high % of our population seem to be.)

Is it too late to add 1 more Peta to the order? I'm planning on becoming a heavy ITMS user soon.

Are your additions to Intel iBook (Rumored) really necessary? They're mostly just repeating what's already been stated earlier in the article, and are misleadingly definitive for a rumor.

Maybe that particular audio file is broken. You should choose Help->Music Store Customer Service and let them know about the problem. Then let us all know what they say and how it turns out.

Went to the store bumped down our plan from the 1400 min plan to 700 min. Now we have unltd to any mobile, inbound and out bound!
Before I jumped on this I looked at all our device contact list and 90% are mobile numbers.

Here is a re-write of the article for those wishing for more "clarity" :p :
While pre-orders of Apple's Second Generation iPod Shuffle, which has a capacity of one Gigabyte (1 Gigabyte = 1,000,000,000 bytes) have recently begun to ship to customers (those who buy things), Apple has announced the general availability of the music player in Apple Retail Stores and Authorized Retailers worldwide this Friday.
AppleInsider (another rumor site) has reported that while retailers (those who sell things) may get stock of the players prior to Friday, they will not be allowed to place them out for sale until Friday.

I originally wanted the white model, but ended up getting the black model. Once it hits the shelves, I'll look at it in store to see how it looks in person, to see if I'll want a white iPhone 5....works out well!
Exactly...6 month ago I would have been all over it...now I don't want to get into a 2 year contract only to have the 5 launch in Sept...
I hate my HTC Hero, but I don't hate it THAT bad (and anyway, my wife uses it mostly).....(continues to convince himself to wait)....

I have a FlipHD, and it automatically syncs all my movies into iphoto. Does iphoto compress or alter (loss of quality) these videos by merely syncing them?
Thanks!:D

I've attended SCCA World Challenge GT racing where Woodhouse Performance raced vipers. Always loved watching the Vipers, Corvettes, Porsches, and Cadillacs mix it up and swap paint for an hour. I'll see the World Challenge races this year at Petit Le Mans (Road Atlanta). That's a fun track to watch them race.
Yea, I didn't put 2 and 2 together with them, until I got to see the Viper Pit. I used to watch the Speed GT and Touring races, and saw the Woodhouse team on there all the time, but I never thought it was the same organization. I just never thought of Nebraska as a place that could be home to a top-notch race team like that. Pretty cool.
When I got to see the Pit, there were a couple LeMans race-prepped cars in there. Quite a sight to behold, as I'd never seen a full-on race car like that up close. I'd auto-x'd for a while, but that was mostly just street cars, or mild race-tuned cars. The Viper was an amazing race car, and seeing one up close like that was awesome.

Many forum members here in the past have claimed that these methods also fall under the classification of torture, so what if information obtained using these methods led to the death of O.B.L.?It would simply indicate a failure of intelligence, and would invalidate any trial evidence. His death is meaningless anyway.
As for the poster who asked what has been gained by his death, its called retribution.Who wants retribution? Your country has just destroyed two other nations and caused the deaths of in the region of a million people, including 4,000 US soldiers, and more or less bankrupted itself, all for what, 3,000 dead, in a search for one man? Is that retribution, or is it lunacy? How many more people now want retribution on the USA?

As a ballroom dancer, my partner and I have to listen to the same music but can't both be teathered to ear buds. With a 4g Itouch playing to her bluetooth headset, would I also get a signal out of the headphones port so that I remain teathered to the buds, or does that port get turned off when BT is in operation?
OR, does ayone know if the Itouch can talk to two BT headphones at the same time?

I added a Workout category
right now there isn't functionality for you to automatically nominate existing songs to the categories.
Just use the "Report Link" feature and ask it to be placed in whatever category u would like, and we'll add it in manually for now.
I'll add that functionality in before long
Any other category suggestions?
