Again, I am not here supporting more numbers or less number in H1B. Because this forum and our organization is nothing related to H1B. We are for Employment based Green Card reforms. I rest my case....Thanks for interesting (and correct) opinions.
Agree completely. IV is for EB GCs and not concerned with H1B. I simply hope that Senator Grassley takes EB into consideration or at least does not oppose somebody else in introducing EB legislation, even on condition of his reforming the H1B process (which I do beleive is needed nonetheless).

Couple of my friends, who have 3 year degrees from India and also have 2 year Masters degree from India, have not been able to apply for EB2. Their lawyers suggested that 3 year degree are a hindernace to get EB2. They both have not tried applying for EB2 and both have active EB3 applications.

I think we should gather hundreds of thousands of people on H1B and waiting for greencard and rally together in Washington DC. Numbers does matter.

Friends, I already have expressed the views regarding Recapturing/ temporarily increasing Employment Based Visa Numbers for Greencard, on change.gov website . I have been getting E-mails from Transition Team. I have pasted this recent E-mail which is about Meeting with Transition Team. I think, IV Core Team members or/and people living around Chicago area should arrange meeting with Transition Team, and express and suggest our ideas regarding Recapture/Temporary Increase EB greencard Numbers to clear the backlog.

It seems that some of us want to fight, but don't have a dedicated thread. Instead we have been hijacking other useful threads.
What I propose here is a FIGHT THREAD.
Yes, this is a copycat idea from FIGHT CLUB
How we go about:
1.) Establish a dedicated thread - just for fighting.
2.) At a pre-determined time (of day or night), fighters login.
3.) They start fighting and all posts/fights will be restricted to FIGHT THREAD only.
4.) Fight ends at a specificed time.
5.) Fighters take a break until the next schedule (may be daily or thrice a week)
6.) Fighters donot desecrate other threads, if they do, they will be banned from FIGHT THREAD.

I too have received an update from CRIS about reopening my old H1B from my previous employer which is a large multi-national organization. I have changed the company since then and I have already received my EAD with the new company. I am a bit worried about the outcome of this review. If in the event of revoking the H1b of my previous employer, will my current H1B will also be revoked or am I safe irrespective of the outcome. Would really appreciate if someone can provide any feedback.
